Aurora, meaning “Goddess of the Dawn” and “dawn light” perfectly describes the beauty and ethereal quality of Aurora House and surrounding estate. High on St Helena ridge it is one of the spots the sun first touches as it rises and one of the last it sets upon.

Sitting spectacularly on St Helena Ridge, McLeods Shoot, the residence is just 10 minutes’ drive from downtown Byron Bay. It enjoys sweeping, panoramic 360 degree views, capturing sea vistas north towards ocean shores and Mt Warning and south towards Lennox heads, as well as lush rolling hinterland.

Set within 52 acres of part farmland, part rainforest, rising from spring fed dams up to the crest of St. Helena ridge there is plenty to explore. The property is a working farm but also home to ancient old scrub forest with 150 year old fig trees, which, like natural cathedrals, spread their boughs to the sky.
