Originally built circa 1881, one of the first homesteads in the area, the house has been meticulously restored, preserving the old world charm and glamour but coupled with modern luxuries. Aurora House offers seamlessly blended rich heritage, character and luxury. There are two bespoke outdoor baths, including a full size copper soaking tub and a magnificent outdoor fireplace. There is a Scandinavian indoor wood burner and areas for outdoor fire pits. Other amenities include the palatial 20m x 5m pool with separate pool pavilion, all set with spectacular sweeping hinterland and ocean views. 

Additionally there are two Japanese style retreat buildings “The Pods” which can be rented separately. The Japanese pods add additional privacy, yoga and relaxation spaces  separated from the main house. They have a luxurious authentic style with additional indoor volcanic soaking tub perfect for couples and honeymooner’s.
