Aurora House offers the perfect backdrop for brand shoots, editorials, and private retreats.
Our 1881 homestead, Japanese-inspired shou sugi ban cabins, and sweeping hinterland and ocean views create an inspiring setting for both creative projects and corporate gatherings.
As well as panoramic views, the property features a 20-metre pool and pavilion, lush gardens, rainforest pockets, a spring-fed dam, and 100-year-old fig trees — all providing incredible backdrops.

Important information
Aurora House is a historic working farm — one of the region’s first homesteads, dating back to 1881. Lovingly restored to its current glory, it offers a rare combination of luxury, heritage, and tranquility.
To ensure your event runs seamlessly and the property remains protected for future guests, please note the following guidelines:
Guest Limits
• Maximum of 100 event guests
• Up to 12 overnight guests in the main house
Transport & Parking
• For events with more than 20 guests, transport must be pre-arranged via a commercial provider (included in venue hire)
• Up to 4 guest vehicles are permitted onsite in the designated parking area only
Noise & Curfew
• Please respect our neighbours and local wildlife — excessive or prolonged noise may result in early event closure
Safety & Property Care
• Guests are responsible for any damage to property, gardens, or livestock
• Certain areas are off-limits for safety reasons and will be clearly marked during your stay
Alcohol Service
• Responsible Service of Alcohol laws apply at all times
• No underage drinking or serving intoxicated guests
